Northfield, VT - Norwich University dominated play from start to finish and handed Northern Vermont University-Lyndon an 11-0 defeat in Monday night's non-conference men's soccer game.  The host Cadets improved to 11-2 on the season with the victory, while the Hornets fell to 1-13.
Amerle Nemeye scored three goals and added an assist to pace Norwich.  Albert Baraka added a pair of goals, and six different Cadets scored once.  Norwich outshot Lyndon, 52-0, in the game, and took 16 corner kicks to none for the Hornets.
Hornet goalkeeper Brett Roy (Newport, VT) was under fire all game and finished with a career high 18 saves on 29 shots on goal.  Norwich keeper Nicolas Lanza earned the win and the shutout without facing a shot.
The Hornets will go on the road on Saturday for their final North Atlantic Conference matchup of the season when they travel to the University of Maine at Presque Isle.  Kickoff is scheduled for 3:15 pm.
