BANGOR, Maine – The Lyndon State College softball squad dropped a pair of North Atlantic Conference matchups against Husson University Sunday afternoon, 12-0 and 10-0, both in five innings.

Game 1

Within the first inning, the Eagles dropped five runs and another four in the second.  The Hornets held them scoreless in the third before the Eagles collected their final three runs in the fourth inning to end the game at five innings with the 12-0 victory.

Alexis Madore (South Royalton, Vt.) and Kiya DeWitt (Pittsburg, N.H.) both went 1-for-2 for the Hornets.

Game 2

The Hornets held the Eagles in the first inning; however, the Eagles would go on to grasp three in the second, five in the third, and two in the fifth for the 10-0 win.

Lyndon's Hannah Choiniere (Highgate, Vt.) went 2-for-2 while Brooke Dolloff (Rumford, Maine) went 1-for-2.

Lyndon (0-12, 0-4 NAC) travels to Castleton University on Tuesday with a 3:30 p.m. start.
