Box Score HENNIKER, N.H. – The Lyndon State College men's soccer team continued North Atlantic Conference play Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 loss at New England College.
Ronsard Masamba converted on a penalty kick in the 17th minute to give the Pilgrims the 1-0 lead. The Pilgrims carried that lead into the half.
Just five minutes into the second half, Cooper Valinski delivered a touch pass to Siad Haji who finish in the lower right corner of the goal to push the Pilgrim lead to 2-0.
Matt LaClair (Beekmantown, N.Y.) stopped seven shots in goal for the Hornets.
Samuel Thompson finished with two saves in the win for the Pilgrims
The Hornets (5-5-0, 2-4-0 NAC) are on the road again Sunday at Colby-Sawyer College for a 12:30 p.m. start.
New England College (6-6-0, 2-2-0 NAC) will host Johnson State College on Sunday.
