Box Score CASTINE, Maine – The Lyndon men's soccer team fell to Maine Maritime Academy 3-1 Saturday night.
Tristan Richards found the back of the net in 31st minute to put the Mariners on top but almost 10 minutes later Joshua Thibault (Glover, Vt.) answered for the Hornets to knot it up at 1-1.
Then in the 48th minute Richard put the Mariners up for good. Henry Hersey gave the Mariners a two-goal cushion after his tally in the 57th minute.
Matt LaClair (Beekmantown, N.Y.) made six saves in net for the Hornets while Maine Maritime's Joshua Reeks finished with four saves in the win for the Mariners (2-6-1, 1-1-1 NAC).
The Hornets (1-7, 0-3 NAC) play at Husson University tomorrow at 3:30pm.
