LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Quinn Rambo scored Lyndon's lone goal late in the game, but it proved to not be enough as New England College edged Lyndon in a 2-1 setback.

The Pilgrims and Hornets went back and forth in the first half and exchanged chance after chance. Halftime left us with the game tied at zero. At 54:18 Julian Yourawski found Rob Lucas who found the back of the net to put the Pilgrims up 1-0. Just 15 minutes later the Pilgrims would strike again as Zak Harris found Manny Arteaga to put the Pilgrims up 2-0.

Rambo (Avon, Ohio) added his tally for Lyndon with just 2:42 remaining. Lyndon's Eric Nelson (Guildhall, Vt.) had a corner kick with less than two minutes remaining and beautiful shot was deflected away by a Pilgrim defender.

New England College (5-3-1) outshot Lyndon (1-6-1) 27-6. Goal Keeper Jason Marks (Newtown, Conn.) made 12 saves in the loss.
