Box Score LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Castleton jumped out to a 77-46 halftime lead and coasted to a 122-73 victory over Lyndon in North Atlantic Conference men's basketball action.
David Cochrane led a balanced attack with 11 first-half points as the Spartans shot out to an early double-digit lead and never looked back. With the win, Castleton improved to 5-6 overall and 4-1 in the NAC. The loss drops the Hornets to 0-12 overall and 0-6 in league play.
Cochrane finished with a game-high 17 points while Keith Schneider, Logan White and Scott Therriault chipped in 12 points each. Therriault had 11 rebounds in the contest and Tyler Ackley dished out seven assists.
Jason Gray (East Thetford, Vt.) collected 17 points and 10 rebounds for Lyndon and Ben Sackett (Lyndonville, Vt.) added 13 points and four assists. Devyn Baranauskas (Waterbury, Conn.) had 12 points for the Hornets and Asa Smith (Cheltenham, Md.) grabbed 11 rebounds.
