In the game two, Barnes went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI
as the Beavers won 14-6 six-inning victory via the mercy rule. Dyer
singled four times for Farmington as the hosts collected 16 hits.
Sam Morency singled and double, while Kaitlyn Haase singled
twice.
Kaitlyn Bartlett and Anna Piggott split mound duties for the
Beavers. The duo combined to walk four and strike out seven. Shams
singled and doubled for the Hornets, while Willey and Kayleigh
Marsh (Newport, Vt.) each singled twice. Shams went
the distance in the loss with four free passes and a punchout.
