Box Score NEWTON, Mass.— Kyle Cronin and Dan Hatch
registered two goals apiece en route to a 4-1 victory over Lyndon
State College at Taylor Field. Lasell was on the attack for the
majority of the game, outshooting the Hornets by a margin of 22-8.
The Lasers also held a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
Cronin scored his first goal of the day at 14:28 of
the contest. His unassisted mark was the sole tally of the first
half, as the Lasers went into the break up 1-0. Early in the
second half, Hatch struck against Hornet goalkeeper Jason
Gray (East Thetford, Vt.) to pad Lasell's
advantage.
Cronin and Hatch tallied one goal each in the next 10
minutes of the contest to extend the lead to 4-0.  Stephen
Petrin assisted on Cronin's second goal of the day. Lyndon State's
only goal of the contest was scored by Patrice
Lumumba (Burlington, Vt.) just over 80 minutes into
the matchup. It was unassisted.
Gray and Ian
Oliver (Westport, Mass.), Lyndon's starting
goalkeeper, collected five saves each while Lasell's Julian Dutton
earned his second victory of the season, making four saves.
