Dana John

Dana John was named Northern Vermont University-Lyndon's head volleyball coach in August of 2019.  She is the second head coach in program history, succeeding Sean Fisher, who started the program in 2006.

John comes to Lyndon from NVU-Johnson, where she had served as assistant women's and men's volleyball coach since September of 2018, working with her husband and Badger head coach Keven John.  In her only season with the Badger women, she helped guide the team to a 10-11 overall record. The ten wins represented a significant turnaround for a Johnson program which had gone winless in the previous season and had never won more than five matches in a season since becoming an NCAA program.

John remains the assistant men's volleyball coach at Johnson.  She helped launch the Badger men's program in the Spring 2019 semester.

Prior to her arrival at Johnson, John spent four seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Western State Colorado University, where she helped lead the Mountaineers to their first post-season appearance in 12 seasons.

John holds an Associate of Arts degree in Visual Communications from Collins College.
