Game 1 - UMaine-Presque Isle 12, VTSU Lyndon 0
Owl pitcher Gracelyn Walsh was the story of the game, tossing a no hitter. Lindsey Gannon (Veverly, MA) and Riley McNamara (Manchester, NH) were the only Lyndon base runners, each working Walsh for a walk.
Walsh, had a pair of hits and two runs batted in for UMPI. Megan Buchholz and Abby Doughty also had two hits for the Owls.
McNamara took the loss after a complete game effort in the circle.
Game 2 - UMaine-Presque Isle 9, VTSU Lyndon 0

Madison Boynton pitched a complete game in the circle for UMPI and nearly matched Walsh's game one effort. She struck out ten without walking a batter and allowed only a first inning single to Sydney Clunis (Windsor, ON).
McNamara again started and went the distance for Lyndon.
The Hornets will continue their Maine road trip on Sunday when they play two at Husson University. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
