Lyndonville, VT - The State University of New York at Delhi used a strong all-around performance to sweep Vermont State University Lyndon 25-12, 25-12, 25-12 in a North Atlantic Conference women's volleyball match Friday evening at Stannard Gymnasium.

The Broncos (5-21, 4-2 NAC) jumped out quickly, opening the first set on a 7-0 run and never looking back.  Delhi hit .226 in the frame, while the Hornets managed just one kill on 26 attempts.

Lyndon (3-19, 1-4 NAC) showed early life in the second set, closing to within a point at 5-4, before Delhi reasserted control.  The Broncos hit .308 in the set and used steady serving and defense to pull away for another 25-12 win.

Delhi closed out the match with another 25-12 decision in the third set.  The Broncos limited Lyndon to three kills in the final frame and finished the match with a .218 hitting percentage compared to the Hornets' -.056.

Kiara Mack (Winooski, VT) led the Hornets with seven kills, while Olivia Cordova (Craig, CO) served three aces.  Noelle Placanica paced Delhi with 11 kills, and Kayla Nuss added eight kills and 11 digs.

The Hornets will look to regroup when they host the State University of New York at Cobleskill Saturday morning at 11:00 am.
