Paul Smith's, NY - Vermont State University Lyndon had the ball with a chance to tie on the game's final possession, but the Hornets were unable to convert, allowing Paul Smith's College to escape with a 67-64 non-conference women's basketball victory on Tuesday evening.  With the win the Bobcats evened their record at 8-8 on the season, while the Hornets fell to 6-12.
