Cobleskill, NY - The State University of New York at Cobleskill jumped out to a 12-2 lead and never looked back, rolling to an 80-41 North Atlantic Conference crossover victory over Vermont State University Lyndon on Saturday afternoon.  The NAC West leading Fighting Tigers improved to 13-1 on the season and 7-0 in NAC play while the Hornets fell to 4-10 overall and 0-6 in conference.

Cara Walker and Logan Thayne scored 22 points apiece to pace Cobleskill.  Taylor Meacham added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers.

Sage Smith (Colebrook, NH) was the only Hornet in double figures, finishing with 13 points.  Marisa Schlegel (Nampa, ID) led Lyndon with six rebounds and four assists.

The Hornets will return home for the first time in seven weeks next weekend when they host Maine Maritime Academy for a pair of games.  The Hornets and Mariners will tip off on Friday evening at 5:30 pm, then run it back Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm.
