Lyndonville, VT - Fisher College took early control of Tuesday's men's soccer game with Vermont State University Lyndon and never relinquished it, rolling to a 13-0 victory in the non-conference affair. The Falcons improved to 1-0-1 on the season, while the Hornets fell to 0-2
Mitchell Bourdeau got the Falcons going with a pair of goal just 27 seconds apart in the 12th and 13th minutes. He completed the hat trick with another score in the 57th minute. Hugo Rodriguez scored twice for Fisher, while eight different Falcons added single goals.
Fisher outshot Lyndon, 53-2, for the game. Hornet goalkeeper Robert McDonald (Arnold, MD) made 11 saves, while his Falcon counterpart, Eduardo Navaro, completed the clean sheet without having to make a save.
The Hornets will open North Atlantic Conference play on Saturday when they host NAC newcomer Lesley University at 3:30 pm on Varsity Field.
