Lyndonville, VT - Vermont State University Johnson defeated Vermont State University Lyndon in straight sets in Wednesday's North Atlantic Conference volleyball match. Johnson won by a score of 25-0, 25-14, 25-15. The Badgers improved to 3-7 with the voctory, while the Hornets remained winless in eight matches. The contest was the NAC opener for both teams.
Vivie Babbot led the Badger attack with 12 kills. Setter Max Ludlow had 13 assists and seven aces and Jimmi Lynn Williams recorded six digs. Kiara Mack (Winooski, VT) and Gray Hoslton (Fargo, ND) had two kills each for Lyndon. Charlotte Morris (Middletown, DE) had four assists and Kazandra Gonzalez (Norwalk, CA) had five digs.
The Hornets will travel to Albertus Magnus College on Saturday an compete in a tri-match. Lyndon will face Framingham State University at 1:00 pm, then host Albertus Magnus at 3 pm.
