Plymouth, NH - Plymouth State University rolled to a 9-0 victory over Vermont State University Lyndon in Wednesday's non-conference women's tennis match at the Bank of New Hampshire Fieldhouse. Plymouth improved to 2-1 wth the win, while Lyndon remained winless in four outings.
Lyndon's second doubles team of Christina McKivergan (Essex, VT) and Emily Sklodosky (Andover, CT) was the only Hornet entry to win a game, as they fell, 8-1, to the Plymouth duo of Elena Cardoso and Sofia Orama. The Panthers captured the other two doubles flights and all six singles matches without dropping a game.
The Hornets will return to action this weekend with a pair of non-conference matchups against fellow Vermont State programs. On Saturday, Lyndon will travel to Vermont State Johnson for a 11:00 AM matchup. The following day they will travel to Vermont State Castleton for a 1:00 start.
