Henniker, NH - The Vermont State University Lyndon volleyball team dropped a non-conference match at New England College on Tuesday evening. The host Pilgrims swept three sets, 25-4, 25-6, 25-13, to improve to 5-2 on the season. The Hornets remain winless in six matches.
NEC got offense from multiple sources, as Kaylee Montgomery led the way with five kills. Lily-Anne Heywood, Samantha Winters, and Savannah Pilialoha all recorded four kills. Aurora Gutierrez-Macias and Alison Hays had nine and eight assists respectively.
Kiara Mack (Winooski, VT) had three kills for the Hornets. Charlotte Morris (Middletown, DE) notched three assists and Gray Hoselton (Fargo, ND) led Lyndon with four digs.
Lyndon goes on the road Saturday for another non-conference contest. The Hornets will play at Bay Path University at 3:00 pm.
