Game 1 - Husson 12, NVU-Lyndon 1
The Eagles jumped in front with four unearned runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back. Husson pounded out 12 hits. Morgan Curtis led the way with a double and a triple and three runs batted in. Jordan Lambert also had two hits and three RBIs. Emily Dunbar added a single and a double and scored twice.
Claudia Knapp's (Howell, NJ) fourth inning base hit off of Husson reliever Emily Rerick was Lyndon's only hit of the game. The Hornets scored their lone run in that inning when Lindsey Gannon (Beverly, MA) led off with a walk and later came around to score when Saleena Porter (St. Johnsbury, VT) grounded out.
Husson starter McKenna Smith pitched three hitless innings, striking out six against one walk, to pick up the win. Hannah Corvino (Milford, NJ) went the distance for Lyndon and absorbed the loss after allowing eight earned runs and striking out a pair.
Game 2 - Husson 9, NVU-Lyndon 1

Lyndon got on the board in the bottom of the third inning. Adriana Lemieux (St. Johnsbury, VT) laced a two-out double off of Husson starter Danielle Masterson, then came all the way around to score on a passed ball.
Husson extended their lead to 5-1 in the top of the fourth inning on Jill Bisson's two-out, two-run base hit. The Eagles then broke the game open with four more runs in the top of the seventh inning. Gregoire's two-run home run and Raymnond's bases loaded single were the big blows.
