Randolph, VT - Northern Vermont University-Lyndon connected on 20 three-point shots and ran away from Vermont Technical college in Tuesday evening's men's collage basketball game. The Hornets picked up the 111-71 victory, their highest scoring total of the season. Lyndon improved to 3-13 on the season while Vermont Tech fell to 4-13.
Mondwell Bukle (Pyeongtaek, South Korea) led the Lyndon scoring parade, connecting on seven of ten shots from behind the three-point arc on the way to a 21-point evening. Gregory Gonyea Jr. (Dolgeville, NY) and Antonio Carlisle (St. Johnsbury, VT) each chipped in 18 points and Peyton Olsen (Middlburgh, NY) added 16 points and four assists. BJ Jenkins and Jonathan Williams scored 10 points each for Vermont Tech.
The Hornets will begin a stretch of nine straight North Atlantic Conference games on Friday evening when they host Thomas College at 7:30 pm.
