Bangor, ME - The Northern Vermont University-Lyndon women's soccer team was unable to get anything going in Saturday's 10-0 North Atlantic Conference loss at Husson University. The Eagles remain atop the NAC's East Division with an 8-0 conference mark and a 9-3-2 overall record. The Hornets fall to 1-11 on the season and remain winless in seven NAC starts.
Husson generated 49 shots while holding Lyndon without a shot in the game. Seven different Eagles scored in the game, with Camryn Rolfe, Charlotte Messer, and Natalie Aviolla notching two goals apiece. Sydney Drew, Shannon Dowd, Mackenzie St. Pierre, and Molly Ennis scored one goal each for Husson.
Karly Cordwell (Milan, NH) made 20 saves in goal for Lyndon. Her Husson counterpart, Shie Smith, earned the win without facing a shot.
The Hornets will return home for a non-conference contest against Vermont Technical College on Monday afternoon at 4:00 pm.
