Box Score LYNDON CENTER, Vt. – The Lyndon State College women's soccer team fell short in their comeback bid against Plymouth State University on Sunday, losing 2-1.

In the 22nd minute, Bell crossed a ball from the right side that found Hannah Kallis who placed a shot into the right side of the net to push the score to 2-0.
The Hornets were able to make a few pushes but were unsuccessful as the score remained 2-0 at the end of the first half.
Aitanna Greenwood (Salt Lake City, Utah) cut the score in half for the Hornets in the 55th minute when she received a lead pass from Kiya DeWitt (Pittsburg, N.H.) and dribbled closer to the goal before she carefully placed the ball around Plymouth keeper Annaliese Schmidt.

Schmidt made two saves in the win for the Panthers (7-6-1, 2-3-1).
Sargent took the loss with a seven-save effort for the Hornets.
