LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Maine Maritime Academy raised its overall record 8-6 and its mark in the North Atlantic Conference to 6-2 with a 58-48 win over Lyndon Friday night at Stannard Gymnasium.

Cheyenne Malloy, Kari Jones and Kristi Willey led a balance Mariner attack with nine points each while Jillian Perron and Ashley Shine chipped in eight each. Leah Jackson grabbed nine rebounds for the winners; Jones and Rebekah Campbell collected seven each. Jones had a team-high three assists and Jackson had six steals.

Chelsea Watson (Eliot, Maine) had 15 points, two assists and three steals for the Hornets (1-12, 1-8) and Chelsea Bagley (Wallingford, Vt.) added 14 points and eight rebounds.
