LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts women's volleyball team held off a late Lyndon rally to record a 3-1 match victory over the Hornets Tuesday at Stannard Gymnasium. With the win, the Trailblazers improve to 3-0 on the season while Lyndon falls to 1-2.

Julia Christian led MCLA with eight kills and five aces while teammate Allie Chang chipped in six kills, five assists and 10 digs. Courtney Parent dished out a game-high 12 assists for the winners and Amanda Fleming collected a team-high 12 digs.

Joy Piper (Belmont, N.H.) had six kills, eight digs and five blocked shots in the loss and Abbey Greene (Exeter, N.H.) chipped in four kills, four assists and eight digs. Morgan Diltz (Moultonborough, N.H.) added four kills and 10 digs and Sarah Adams (Alton, N.H.) amassed a team-high 12 digs in the match.
