Box Score 2 LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Lyndon's hopes for a home berth in the upcoming North Atlantic Conference playoffs took a hit with losses to Maine Maritime Academy and Husson University. The matches were part of a quad-match held Saturday at Stannard Gymnasium.

Betsy Trenckman had a match-high 11 kills to go along with two assists, two services aces, eight digs and one block as the Mariners secured a victory by set scores of 25-13, 28-26 and 25-17.
Sydney Robertson added 11 kills and four blocks for the Mariners (14-8, 3-1) while Samantha Tumolo collected 25 assists and 13 digs. Gillian O'Neal had eight service aces in the match and Melissa Lail had 13 digs.
Kelleigh Murtaugh (Merrimack, N.H.) had eight kills, four services aces, three digs and two blocks for the Hornets and Morgan Diltz (Moultonborough, N.H.) chipped in seven kills and eight digs.
Husson 3, Lyndon 1
The Eagles and Hornets squared off in the nightcap with Husson walking off with a hard-fought 3-1 over the quad-match hosts. The Eagles earned their second NAC win of the season by set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 18-25 and 25-21.
Lindsey Chapman had 14 kills, three service aces, 10 digs and four blocks to lead the way while Alexandra deHertogh added nine kills, one ace, five digs and four blocks. Casey Lopes had a match-high 24 assists for Husson.
Morgan Diltz had 16 kills, three service aces and 11 digs for Lyndon while Joy Piper (Belmont, N.H.) had six kills, one assist, one service ace, seven digs and six blocks. Gwyneth Stahl (Whitinsville, Mass.) had 21 assist for the Hornets in the loss.
