LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The Green Mountain women's volleyball team fought off a late Lyndon rally to earn a 3-2 non-conference match victory at Stannard Gymnasium.

The Eagles won the match by set scores of 18-25, 25-20, 25-21, 10-25 and 15-7.

Megan O'Keefe led Green Mountain with eight kills and six digs while Kara Egan added seven kills and13 digs. Jennifer Seredjko collected 10 assists in the match and Cynthia Cordova had a team-high three aces.

Maegen Fried (Great Falls, Mont.) had 10 kills and 12 digs for the Hornets and Taylor Young (Lowell, Mass.) chipped in 10 aces. Jaclyn Brett (Weymonth, Mass.) had seven assists and Joy Piper (Belmont, N.H.) blocked four shots in the loss.
