LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Vanessa Powers had 32 points, nine rebounds and four steals to power Castleton to a season-ending 81-65 win over Lyndon.

Alyssa Leonard added 15 points and seven assists for the Spartans while teammates Christine Jaques and Tarryn Bolognani had a game-high four assists each. 

Naomi White (Danville, Vt.) had 17 points, seven rebounds and three steals for the Hornets and Donna Lawson (Irasburg, Vt.) tossed in a team-high 18 points to go with five boards. Stephanie Barclay (Barre, Vt.) , playing in her final home game at Lyndon, collected three assists in the contest.

With the loss, the Hornets end the regular season with a record of 11-12 overall and 7-7 in the North Atlantic Conference.
