JOHNSON, Vt. – Lyndon State ended its four-game losing streak with a lopsided 67-39 North Atlantic Conference victory over arch-rival Johnson State. The Hornets ran out to a 34-15 halftime lead and did not look back to pick up the win.

Lyndon was led by Naomi White (Danville, Vt.) who scored a team-high 14 points including a 3-for-3 effort from the 3-point line while adding seven boards.  Dannika Dobrowski (Plainfield, Vt.) came off the Lyndon bench to score 12 points while Donna Lawson (Irasburg, Vt.) just missed a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Jasmin Amaral (Westport, Mass.) contributed six points, 11 rebounds, and six steals on the day for the Hornets in a reserve role.

Johnson saw Andrea Deuell (Milton, Vt.) net a game-high 21 points while going 3-for-5 from the 3-point line and was the only Badger in double-figures. K.C. Cousineau (Bristol, Vt.) scored six points and snatched five rebounds for JSC.

Lyndon State used a 50-34 rebounding advantage on the day and a defense that allowed just 24% shooting for Johnson on the day to help key the win.
