LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Adrienne Bender scored two goals to lead Colby-Sawyer to a 2-0 North Atlantic Conference women's soccer victory over Lyndon.

Bender opened the scoring in the contest at the 4:48 mark when she teed up a shot from 25 meters out and beat Hornet goalie Tia Billado (Bellows Falls, Vt.) with a shot into the lower left corner of the net. Abi Wurtele drew an assist on the play.

Twenty-minutes later, Bender tallied the last goal of the game with a blast into the upper left corner of the net. The goal was unassisted.

Shalyn Spencer made four saves for the Chargers while Billado stopped one shot for Lyndon. Colby-Sawyer held a 10-5 advantage in shots in the contest.
