LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Donna Lawson (Irasburg, Vt.) scored 15 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as Lyndon defeated Thomas 64-56 in North Atlantic Conference women's basketball action at Stannard Gymnasium.

Ariel McConkey (Freyburg, Maine) tossed in a team-high 16 points for the Hornets while Stephanie Barclay (Barre, Vt.) and Naomi White (Danville, Vt.) collected 13 points and 13 rebounds, respectively. Maisie Sanchez (Waterbury, Conn.) dished out three assists for Lyndon, which upped its record to 5-7 overall and 1-2 in the NAC.

Karin Bird had 19 points and three assists for the Terriers and teammate Ashley Matchett added 15 points. Kellie Martel had 12 points and three assists for Thomas (4-8, 2-2) while Mallorie Blakney chipped in nine rebounds and three steals.
