NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Norwich women's volleyball team swept Lyndon 3-0 in non-conference action at Andrews Hall. The Cadets dominated from the opening whistle and won by scores of 25-9, 25-13 and 25-13.

Norwich's Ivana Batur had a team-high nine kills and teammate Thea Evans added seven. Molly Rice had 24 assists for the Cadets, Brittany Palmer added five digs, and Jessica Bielski had seven service aces.

Erica Ponte (Westport, Mass.) had the lone Lyndon kill in the match while Maegen Fried (Great Falls, Mont.) and Christine Bailey (Lyndonville, Vt.) served one ace each. Bailey also had four digs and one block for the Hornets.
