CASTLETON, Vt. - Castleton State College earned a 3-1 victory over Lyndon State College at a tri-match held at Castleton State's Glenbrook Gymnasium. The Lady Hornets they jump out to a 1-0 lead before losing three staight sets in a 3-1 loss . The Lady Spartans dropped the first set 25-20, but rallied to win by scores of 25-19, 25-11 and 25-15.

Jamie Lemieux had 23 kills and added six blocks to lead Castleton. Ashley Kepaa added 17 kills of her own, while setter Jennifer Vibert amassed 29 assists. Vibert also contributed six service aces and was a key component in the Lady Spartan comeback.

Kayla Borbst (Merrimack, N.H.) led Lyndon with five kills and three aces, while Morgan Reilly (Whittier, Calif.) added 11 assists and 12 digs.
