CASTLETON, Vt. - Green Mountain College earned a 3-0 shutout over Lyndon State College at a tri-match held at Castleton State's Glenbrook Gymnasium. The Lady Eagles took sets 25-17, 25-11 and 25-10.

Emma Brinley-Buckley had 11 kills and three solo blocks to lead GMC. Melanie Rodriguez added six kills and 11 service aces as the Hornets struggled to return serve much of the matcha st Lady Eagles amassed 25 aces for the match.

Michelle Petty (Pawlet, Vt.) had five kills and 10 digs for Lyndon State while Maegen Fried (Great Falls, Mont.) chipped in four kills and two aces.
