LEICESTER, Mass.- Shannon Tibbetts secured her second straight shutout of the season, as Becker College defeated Lyndon State 2-0.

Alexandra Fernandes scored her fourth goal of the season, when she drove a header into the back of the net for a 1-0 advantage. Caroline Plunkett gave the Hawks some breathing room in the 70th minute, when she broke through the defense uncontested for her fifth goal of the season.

Samantha Smith (North Haverhill, N.H.) and Natalia Shams (Swampscott, Mass.) combined to make seven saves in a losing effort. The Hornets fell to 4-1 on the season. Becker keeper Shannon Tibbetts made one save to earn the win.
