LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — Naomi White (Danville, Vt.) recorded a double-double as Lyndon State defeated Vermont Tech 70-45 in women's collegiate basketball action.

White tallied 21 points and hauled in 15 rebounds to lead the Lady Hornets and teammate Kasey Steinmetz (Lebanon, N.H.) chipped in 18 points off the bench. Marisa Harris (South Burlington, Vt.) had 10 points for the winners while the backcourt duo of Stephanie Barclay (Woodbury, Vt.) and Danielle LaFont (Albany, Vt.) handed out five assists each. White also managed to collect five steals in the contest.

Kelly Vellek fired in a game-high 24 points for the Green Knights, including 18 from beyond the three-point arc, while Eliza Wakefield amassed nine points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots.
