Box Score LYNDON CENTER, Vt. - In the opening match of
the LSC Quad-match, the Maine Maritime Mariners defeated Lyndon
State by games scores of 25-14, 25-12 and 25-10.
Maritime's Chelsea Ward led the way with 18 kills and
three aces while teammate Amy Young chipped in 12 kills, three aces
and three blocks. Jennifer Dixon had seven assists for the winners
and Lauren Sakahara collected 15 digs.
Kayla Brobst (Merrimack, N.H.) had three kills
and five blocks for Lyndon, and the tandem of Morgan Reilly (Whittier, Calif.) and Ally Ciaramitaro (Melrose, Mass.) had seven assists and 16
digs, respectively.
