LYNDON CENTER, Vt. — The Thomas College women's soccer team scored two second-half goals to erase a 1-0 halftime deficit and walk off with a narrow 2-1 North Atlantic Conference victory over Lyndon State College.

Ashley Phelps (Lyndonville, Vt.), off an assists from Abby Fadden (North Haverhill, N.H.), staked the Lady Hornets to 1 -0 lead at the 18:47 mark of the first half and Lyndon managed to make the lead stand until intermission.

In the final 45 minutes of play, Julia Nyitray tallied her first goal of the game at 76:50 and added an insurance marker on a penalty kick seven minutes later to steal the victory.

Terriers' goalkeeper Anika Powers made six saves to get the win and Lyndon goalie Samantha Smith (North Haverhill, N.H.) stopped nine shots in the loss.  Thomas outshot Lyndon State by a margin of 26-15.
