Vermont State University Lyndon named Brianna Watson as its Head Athletic Trainer in September of 2025.  Watson is responsible for the prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and medical well-being of Lyndon's over 150 student athletes competing in 12 NCAA Division III varsity sports.

Watson came to Lyndon after spending two plus years working as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Tennessee Orthopedic Associates.  In that role she was assigned as an athletic trainer at the Christian Academy of Knoxville in Knoxville, TN, a private, non-denominational Christian school in Knoxville.  There she worked with middle and high school athletes competing in football, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, cross country, track & field, golf, tennis, and wrestling.

Prior to her time at Knoxville Christian, Watson spent a year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Carson-Newman University, an NCAA Division II institution in Knoxville, TN.  While there, she worked with athletes competing in the Eagles' 21 varsity athletic programs.  She was the primary athletic trainer for men's and women's cross country and men's and women's track & field, and was the secondary trainer for football.

Watson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Science from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH, in 2021.  She earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Plymouth State and her Athletic Training Board Certification in 2022.

Watson is a native of Jefferson, NH.
