Bangor, ME - Husson University sprinted to a 13-goal first quarter, then cruised to a 25-1 North Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse victory over Vermotn State University Lyndon on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles improved to 2-4 on the season, while the Hornets fell to 0-2. The game was the NAC opener for both squads.
Gracie Gardner and Reece Sullivan had three goals apiece for Husson. 18 different Eagles found the net in the contest. Lacey Scanlon played the first half in goal and earned the win.
Kiara Mack (Milton, VT) scored Lyndon's only goal. Elivia Woodward (Hudson Falls, NY) made nine saves in goal and absorbed the loss.
Lyndon will be on the road again next Saturday when they travel to Thomas College for a 1:00 pm NAC matchup.
